Illukkumbura and Sons (Pvt) Ltd. was established on the 23rd of March in 1968 with the intentions of being a key player in the Mechanical & Electrical Engineering field in Sri Lanka. It has strived to become a leading and most innovative mechanical & electrical engineering firm in Sri Lanka for all Private and Public Sector projects through solutions.
The company’s origins are in Electrical Trading and Manufacturing Light fittings, In 2002 we diverted for air-conditioning and Solar power generation in one package.
As the potential of the air-conditioning division grew once more, in 2018, Illukkumbura and Sons (Pvt) Ltd ventured into consumer good brands under the name “ISLANDER” .
